MIG (GMAW) with aluminum and other soft alloy wires
Spoolmatic 30A
Lightweight well-balanced, the Spoolmatic 30Aź feeder gun offers optimum
performance for aluminum repair work in job shops and auto body repair work.
Engineered for operator comfort, the Spoolmatic 30A gives you the portability
and 30 ft. (9 m) cable assembly access those hard-to-reach welds.
Rated at 200 amps and 100% duty cycle, the gun has the muscle to handle tough
production schedules. The system offers a wide range of wire feeds speeds
through a solid-state speed control circuit and high-power drive motor. The
Spoolmatic gun and matching WC weld controls can be used with most constant
current and/or constant voltage (CC/CV, CC, or CV) DC power sources.
Spoolmatic wire feed systems handle aluminum and other soft alloy wires from
0.025-1/16 in (0.6 - 1.6mm). All hoses and cables are routed out the back of
the gun, and the spool canister can rotate 180°.

WC-24 Weld Control
 |
Packaged in a compact, lightweight, non-metallic
enclosure, the WC-24 easily mounts directly on the power source. It's designed
for use with Miller CV sources supplying 24 volt AC and 14-[in receptacles. The
control includes a board-mounted potentiometer which can alter the drive motor
acceleration rate to optimize arc starting performance.
The totally sold-state control, combined with the high-power permanent magnet
drive motor of the Spoolmatic 30A gun offers a wide range of feed speeds. |
WC-115A Weld Control
 |
This control unit operates on 115 volt AC, and is
designed primarily for CC DC power sources. It can also be used with CV power
sources or DC engine drives supplying 115 volt AC. When used with a CV source,
the control circuit functions in a voltage-sensing mode. When used with a CV
source, it functions as a constant speed source.
Standard features include a wire run-in control and a drive motor acceleration
control which ensure optimum arc starting performance, regardless of the type
of power source being used. The WC-115A comes with a 10 ft (3m), wall-type plug
power cord. |
